Current Vacancies – Textile Production Room Supervisor

We are currently looking for Textile Production Room Supervisor for our brand new studio to start in April/ May 2019. You will be experienced in sewing loose upholstery seating cushions using thick vinyl, velvets, acrylics, weave and cotton fabrics. You will love paying attention to detail, making sure the measurements are correct, piping and buttons are accurate, patterns match and it looks perfect when complete. You will be creative with your skills, with ambition to develop new interior products such as curtains & blinds, cushions, bedspreads, oven gloves and tea towels . As a natural leader you will be capable of developing the studio and building up a team as we expand. You will bring with you your years of experience in interiors and upholstery, a brilliant understand of machinery needed and a wealth of knowledge about fabrics. We will be moving into digitally printed fabrics, so experience in this area too would be an advantage but not essential. This position will initially be for 18 hours a week, with view to increasing as we expand, and be based at our factory in Foston, Derbyshire.
